I'm thrilled to report that our summer and fall classes are now posted on the pages section of the blog...look to your right and check out the great variety of classes!
I'm happy to have Dianna Tornow and Janet Brown returning to Sugar Seminars! Both women are insanely talented and I'm thrilled with the classes they will be offering.
Dianna Tornow, owner of Dianna Tornow Cakes, llc. and Food Network Competitor will teach us how to make molds. We will construct a mold making box, use pourable silicone, and silicone putty to make molds. Students will take both their molds and molding box home!
Janet Brown, owner of The Cake Studio will teach us how to use an airbrush. Students will learn to take their airbrushes apart and put them back together, how to clean, and how to use their brushes! Many of the students who took this class last year said it was the best airbrush class they ever had.
Be sure and check out the "Bag of Chips" cake you will make in the airbrush class.
Details on Janet's second class can be found in the blog post below.
I will be offering some sugarpaste flower classes as well as an Introduction to Rolled Fondant. If you've been wanting to learn the art of sugar flowers now is your chance! We have a nice variety of flower classes, suited to both the beginner and advanced student.
We have also been busy with wedding cakes! Here are a few recent cakes:
and how about this cute groom's cake:
Thanks for looking and to see more of our recent cakes, take a look at Custom Cakes' FaceBook page and if you don't already, we would love for you to "Like" us.
Hope to see you in a Sugar Seminar soon!
