Ashlee Perkins, owner of Tier Luxury Cakes will return to Custom Cakes to teach her very popular cake sculpture class - 3-D bull dog. Ashlee is well know for her incredible cake scultpures and animals are her passion. Here is what Ashlee has in store for us:
-Students create a laying-down bulldog entirely out of cake, frost it,
and cover it with fondant
-Students will learn the basics of cake carving techniques, as well as
the basics of covering a sculpted cake in fondant
-Students will also utilize fondant "shaping" techniques using a
variety of tools
-Students will explore basic airbrushing techniques, and will be
allowed time to practice before airbrushing cake
